It is a kind of bifunctional silane, which is used to reinforce the adhesive strength between resin and inorganic coatings, plastic coatings and the surfaces of inorganic fillers.

Physico-chemical property:

This product is colorless to light yellow clear transparent liquid, its density ρ(25/25ºC) is 1.030, its refractive index nD25ºC is 1.427, its boiling point (760mmHg) is 259ºC, its flashing point is 88ºC, and its molecular weight is 222.4. It is soluble in organic solvent such as benzene and ether, and can react with acetone, titanium tetrachloride and water.

Application:

1. It can be used as adhesion promoter, which is widely used in polysulfide, PVC paste, organic silicon bicomponent, polyurethane and epoxy resin adhesive and sealant.

2. It can be used as additive for phenolic aldehyde and epoxy molding objects.

3. It can be used as the component of emulsion paint, adhesives and sealants.

4. It can be also used as the adhesion promoter for one-component silane polyurethane adhesive based on organofunctional silane SPURSM technology.
